MOBY DICK READING MARATHON

Are you ready to read the American classic Moby Dick? The marathon reading of Herman Melville’s classic adventure story, which was written in Sag Harbor, will take place over 3 days at several locations. Canio’s Books will be the anchor with other locations in Sag Harbor including the Jermaine Public Library, Sag Harbor Whaling Museum, Eastville Cultural Center and Museum and the Old Whaler’s Church. Would you like to help plan the marathon? It’s great fun to work together on this beloved event. All skills are welcome, including scribes, cooks facile with try-pots, & harpooners.
